As noted on
ramtops LJ, and originally poked into action by, I think,
36's LJ, I have succumbed to
every Babylon 5 episode and film, ever for 79 quid. This was after *cough* obtaining *cough* the first series, realising I did want to watch more of it and that the price was rather good.
I've also ordered some Rimsky-Korsokov, Annie Lennox's latest solo album and some Beethoven. This takes a just over three figure chunk out of the share dividend I got last week. yay.
Then, when I go to the delivery page, Amazon offered me a free one month trial of Amazon Prime, so I'll get everything tomorrow.
Can you say Win? :)
Alternatively, if you're less of a video snob than me and still have a VHS player lying around, videos on Amazon are now utterly worthless. A complete Babylon 5 VHS on that has gone for less than a tenner, more than once. Even allowing for the huge shelf space requirement and less than brilliant video quality, that's a bit of a bargain..
