Plenty of weekend splendidness:

Friday - fiddling around with Morrowind and local pubbage.

Saturday - long lie in, and general tidying, lounging and more playing with Morrowind (revealing that it appears to be CPU bound and that if I want to put any addons onto it, I need a faster computer).

The off to Manchester for a few drinkies with loopy_lorna, softfruit and various of Lorna's friends in Baa Bar. Baa was horribly loud as usual, but some fun chat was had. Didn't bother going on to clubbing as I wanted to be up early for ..

Sunday : The Day of Culture. Nipped to Manchester shortly after lunch to look at the British Art Show 6 contemporary art exhibition. Enjoyed the exhibits in the Cornerhouse - especially the 'carpet fluff animals'. Moved on to Manchester Art Gallery, with a quick detour to stock up on Lush supplies, met up with C and S before nipping round having a look at the exhibits, having a quick coffee and then seeing 'Four Countries One Cinema Programme 2' at AMC, meeting S2 on the way.

The film shorts were of consistently high quality, ranging from terribly serious, to poignant, to really funny. It perhaps would have been better to end with one of the funnier ones though!

A few drinkies were had in Taurus before nipping home for food and a drink in the local.

A splendid weekend overall :).
