| I'm getting Chocolate Lust (a not that frequent desire, more frequent is Stroking Fluffy Kitten desire and, well, normal Lust). This is possibly because, other than the alcohol, I have largely been terribly healthy recently.
Meat dishes/lunches have been cut down to 2 a week for quite some time, with the remainder occupied by vegan dishes and a bit of fish and snacks are satiated by munchy seeds and fruit (anyone know a good Manchester/Bolton stockist of Munchy Seeds - Holland and Barrett is accessible, I guess). I have been having no cake or biccies at all, which is probably a good thing.
I might still cut down the meat a bit further, but I do like meat and don't think I'll turn entirely vegan; I'd probably need to adjust my diet a bit more nutrient wise if I did. Merchant Gourmet couscous is very yummy though..
Should probably drink slightly less beer I guess; tried some very nice pear cider on Saturday - but I doubt that's any more healthy, frankly - most other drinks are also loaded with calories and sugar.
Any recommendations of nice vegan food are welcome, too :) |
